Message of condolence
It is with deep regret that we bring the tragic news of our colleague and friend, Kevin Warren, who sadly passed away in a fatal accident on Sunday 5th April, aged 64.
He leaves behind his wife, Pam, daughter Josephine and son Tobias. Kevin, raised in Hertfordshire, had been a lifelong supporter of Watford Football Club almost all of his life.
His career began when he started working in the laboratories at BSI, before moving on to start what would become his passion for quality systems as an auditor. Kevin joined the BTTG® Auditing team in 2016 and brought with him a wealth of experience and professionalism, gained through more than 30 years working in the industry. Kevin is greatly respected; his knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and his expertise in auditing PPE, Construction Products, Marine Equipment, ISO 9001, and other certification schemes, including the Safety Equipment Institute for the United States, was outstanding.
Kevin was Chair of the Co-ordination of PPE Notified Bodies Article 11/C2/D in Europe, and served as Chairman of the BSIF (British Safety Industry Federation) Test and Certification Association.
His untimely death and absence will be felt, not only by friends and colleagues within BTTG®, but also across the wider industry.
Our heartfelt condolences are with his family at this most difficult of times. We are sure you will join us in passing deepest sympathies to Kevin’s family and friends.
