Technical Customer Services Officer
Due to a vacancy within the PPE Customer Services Team, we are seeking a Technical Customer Services Officer based in Trafford Park.
Reporting to the Customer Services Section Leader the main duties are:
- Management of the Customer Services email inboxes – responding to client emails, logging of enquiries, uploading of test results
- Preparation and issuing of quotations to clients
- Providing excellent customer service to our clients to ensure their needs are met
- Performing technical contract review of test submissions received
- Sales Order creation using SAGE and CRM
- Providing support to the ‘Sample Logging’ team involving opening of parcels and photography of samples.
- Performing the above tasks to meet KPI’s
Key skills:
- Relevant Science degree or equivalent / 3 years experience in a similar technical environment
- Flexibility and willingness to provide support to the rest of the team where necessary
- Organisation skills and ability to prioritise, with excellent attention to detail
- Time management skills with ability to work under pressure
- Ideally with an interest in textiles
- Good communication skills
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Experienced with Microsoft Word & Excel
