With over 100 years’ experience, BTTG®, Approved Body 0338, offers testing, certification and auditing services for UKCA marking for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Construction Products, and Marine Equipment. Shirley® UK supports clients in PPE and outdoor clothing industries by providing cutting-edge analytical methods to detect, identify and quantify PFAS from fluorine-based water/oil/stain repellent finishes.
Shirley® now offers both targeted PFAS analysis using advanced chromatography (HPLC-MS/MS and CI-GC-MS/MS), alongside innovative total/extractable fluorine testing by combustion Ion chromatography (CIC). This provides our clients with the detailed information needed to make proactive decisions about the challenges ahead due to escalating REACH and POPS legislations.
