Lead Auditor - Bangladesh

Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh (frequent national travel required)

Reporting to: Bangladesh Country Manager

Department: Testing & Certification (OEKO-TEX® and related schemes)

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Auditor to join our Bangladesh operations. Following training and a witnessing period, the successful candidate will conduct audits for OEKO-TEX® certified products. This role involves collaboration with our UK and Ireland offices and may expand to include ISO 9000 and related audits. 

The position is based in Dhaka and involves significant travel across Bangladesh.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Perform OEKO-TEX® product audits after completing required training
•    Coordinate audit activities with teams in the UK and Ireland
•    Maintain and build strong client relationships
•    Promote and market testing and certification services in Bangladesh
•    Manage client communication via phone, email, and meetings
•    Maintain detailed and confidential client records
•    Provide support to new and existing clients
•    Attend required training in the UK and/or India, and annually thereafter

Candidate Profile:
•    Minimum of 5 years’ experience in textile manufacturing or auditing
•    IRCA Certified Auditor / Lead Auditor (or willingness to train)
•    Degree in a science-related field, preferably Textile Chemistry or Engineering
•    Fluency in English (written and spoken)
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, Teams, and internet use
•    Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
•    Willingness to travel extensively across Bangladesh and abroad for training

Training & Development:
Initial training will be held at Shirley Technologies (Manchester, UK) and/or at our office in Ahmedabad, India. 
Annual overseas training may also be required, with visa support provided.
